The fourth edition of India’s premier women’s T20 cricket league was the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. It was a competition in which five franchises competed against each other for the title at various venues in India.

WPL 2026 saw the participation of five teams:

•Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women
•Gujarat Giants Women
•UP Warriorz
Before the playoffs, these teams played a double round robin.
Venues
WPL 2026 matches were hosted at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy and BCA Stadium. World-class facilities for players and fans were offered at both venues.
Match Timings
Most of the matches took place at 3:00 PM IST and 7:30 PM IST, and on double-header days, there were both afternoon and evening matches.

It started on 9 January 2026 and ended with the final on 5 February 2026. The key matchups were between Mumbai Indians Women and Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women in the first match, league stage games, the Eliminator on 3 February and the Final on 5 February.
Tournament Format
Each team played every other team twice during the league stage. Both the table-topper and second and third place finished in the Eliminator for a spot in the final.
