UI is directed by Real Star Upendra, who also portrayed the lead character. Manoharan and KP Sreekanth produced this movie under the banner of Lahari Films LLP and Venus Entertainers banners. Apart from Upendra, the cast includes Sunny Leone, Murali Sharma, Reeshma Nanaiah, Nidhi Subbaiah, Pavan Acharya, and Om Sai Prakash in key roles. B Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music and background scores.

The creators revealed the first look teaser on January 8, 2024, during a grand event that was held in Bengaluru. Celebrities such as Allu Aravind, Shivarajkumar, and Sudeep launched the teaser. It garnered millions of views, and Upendra's fans were quite excited about the film.
