SEVENTEEN, one of the top talents in K-pop, has 13 members and three units. The former Seventeen Magazine cover stars tout more than 10 million albums sold and over 2 billion streams. In addition to being nominated for the Best K-pop award at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, they made history in 2021 by being the first group to have two No. 1 albums on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart.

BIGBANG was created in 2006 as a result of the television programme Big Bang Documentary. The R&B-influenced fivesome gained notoriety as one of the most popular K-pop groups of the 2000s for many years. Members of the gang joined in the military in 2017 since South Korea requires all citizens to serve in the military. As members Taeyang and Daesung were released from the Korean military in November 2019, rumours of a potential comeback started to circulate. G-Drag, the frontman of Big Bang, debuted a pair of trainers named the Nike Air Force 1 Para-Noise shortly after receiving his military release.

5/10 Dreamcatcher:

Dami, JiU, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, Handong, Gahyeon, and SuA make up the group Dreamcatcher. Three albums, The Beginning of the End, 1st Album [Dystopia: The Tree of Language], and most recently [Apocalypse: Save us], have been released since their 2017 debut. Their song "Maison" debuted on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart in April 2022, peaking at No. 17. Their music offers a lot of punk-rock tunes loaded with guitar riffs, which is a stark contrast to the normal K-pop rhythms.

6/10 GOT7:

GOT7, a group famous for fusing street dance and martial arts in their live performances, released their debut EP, Got It?, in 2014. Flight Log: Turbulence, the group's second studio album, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums list. In 2018, the group and Adidas worked together to perform their song "Look" in a special way. GOT7's 11th EP, Dye, which was released in April 2020, set a new record for both first-day and first-week sales. Later, the group said that it will be departing JYP Entertainment when their contracts with the firm ended. GOT7 released their song, "Encore," in February 2021.

One of the most popular K-pop girl groups, Girls' Generation has sold over 100 million physical and digital albums. Girls' Generation pioneered the path and created history from their 2007 debut until their last release as a group in 2018. As the performers with the most accolades at the MelOn Music accolades, they entered the Guinness World Records in 2018 after taking home 13 prizes. Since then, the members of their band have found fame as DJs, actors, and hosts of variety shows.

ENHYPEN received four "Rookie of the Year" Awards after debuting in 2020. The music videos for the group's tracks "Given-Taken," "Drunk-Dazed," and "Tamed-Dashed" have received over 100 million views amongst the seven members who represent Ami Paris on a worldwide scale.

The Dream Chapter: Star, the first EP by Tomorrow X Together (TXT), was released in 2019. After "Crown" had 14.5 views in one day, the music video for the EP's lead track set a record for being the most watched K-pop debut music video for a male group within 24 hours. They won their first-ever MTV Video Music Award nomination for Best K-pop and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists list. The Dream Chapter: Magic, their follow-up album, landed at No. 3 on Billboard's World Album list. As they received the GQ Japan Men of the Year Pop Icon Award, TXT's success grew.
