From the battlefields of ancient history to the silver screen of modern Bollywood, Laksh Lalwani has carved a journey that few young actors can match. Born on 19 April 1996, in New Delhi, this Delhi boy with Army dreams ended up conquering hearts across India’s entertainment world instead.

Early Life and Education.
Laksh grew up in a middle-class household shaped by discipline and warmth. He studied at St. Xavier’s School, Delhi, before pursuing Graduation in Fine Arts and Photography from Delhi University a creative foundation that perhaps sharpened his instinct for performance. Interestingly, his childhood dream wasn’t fame; it was the Indian Army. Life, however, had a different script waiting for him.
Breaking Into Television.
Laksh stepped into acting in 2015 with the youth drama Warrior High, followed by appearances in Adhuri Kahaani Hamari and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. His breakthrough moment arrived in 2016 when Ekta Kapoor cast him as the charming Veer Mehra in Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil earning him a growing fanbase overnight.
But it was Sony TV’s grand historical epic Porus (2017–2018) that truly put him on the map. Playing the legendary warrior-king Porus in one of Indian television’s most expensive productions ever was no small feat. Despite suffering a serious injury during filming, Laksh refused to slow down, pushing through every demanding scene with remarkable grit. That dedication won him the Lions Gold Award and a Television Award for Best Actor in 2018.
Bollywood Arrival and the ‘Kill’ Factor
His leap to Bollywood came in 2023 with Dharma Productions’ adrenaline-fueled action thriller Kill, where he played Amrit Rathod alongside Lakshya. The film became a critical and commercial hit, announced a new kind of action cinema in India, and signalled that Laksh was built for the big screen.
Recent Work and Upcoming Projects
In 2025, he appeared in Aryan Khan’s buzzy streaming series The Bastards of Bollywood, playing Aasmaan a role that showcased his range beyond period dramas and action.
May 2026 brought his most anticipated release yet, the romantic film Chand Mera Dil, opposite Ananya Panday. The pairing has already generated significant excitement among fans. Looking ahead, two massive projects are lined up: Bedhadak alongside Shanaya Kapoor, and Karan Johar’s long-awaited Dostana 2 with Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor, a casting combination that has Bollywood buzzing.
Personal Life
Standing at 5’9″, Laksh is known for his disciplined lifestyle, gym sessions, travel, and butter chicken with roti being his personal indulgences. He remains unmarried, with his name casually linked to actresses Rashmi Desai and Aditi Gupta over the years. He credits producer Vikas Gupta as a guiding figure in his life.
With a skyrocketing filmography and two major 2026 releases ahead, Laksh Lalwani is no longer just a television heartthrob; he’s steadily becoming one of Bollywood’s most watchable talents.
