Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are one of the most loved bollywood dup in town. Every time the couple makes awesome appearances in the city or shares social media posts, the photos and the videos go viral on the Internet in no time. Most recently, the couple were spotted making heads turn at the Red Sea Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The power couple exuded royalty as they graced the festival in in their most stylish outfits. During their appearance on the red carpet, Saif and Bebo have been seen interacting with the media.
Saif Ali Khan shares the list of his greatest female actors
The couple was spotted joining the Women in Cinema event at the Film Festival. Before entering, Saif was asked about the contributions of women in Bollywood Industry. While speaking about the same, the actor mentioned a few female actresses but he somehow forgot to mention his wife’s name. He said that Cinema is empty without women for a beginning. When you think of cinema you think of so many important women, my favourite actresses from all the way back from Marlene Dietrich to Audrey Hepburn to Charlize Theron. Bebo quickly interrupt and said, “to your wife!” Saif then added, “and to my most beautiful wife” and they laughed.
Saif also spoke about his mom and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. He said that his mother, her first movie (Apur Sansar) was with Satyajit Ray when she was 16. So he thinks that feminine sensitivity and aggression, that whole aspect of nature is what women in cinema mean to him. Kareena also shared her views as she said that so many different women from around the world are coming to be a part of this festival to celebrate the fact that women are leading the pack whether it is in India or anywhere else in the world. All the actors are taking up such brave roles so she is very happy as it was the most special day.
In addition to Saif and Bebo, other celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Kajol were seen joining the Film Festival.
Work front
Saif will be appearing next in Adipurush with Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. The movie will be released in 2023. On the other hand, Bebo will be appearing in The Crew with Tabu and Kriti. She will also be seen in Hansal Mehta’s next and Sujoy Ghosh’s Devotion of Suspect X.
