Ranbir Kapoor Opens Up About Mental Health and Therapy
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently shared personal insights into his mental health journey during a conversation with Nikhil Kamath. The actor revealed that he sought therapy before his father’s illness but found the experience ineffective due to his inability to fully open up and a perceived focus on manipulation rather than genuine healing.
Kapoor emphasized the importance of self-education and personal growth in overcoming emotional challenges. He also highlighted the stigma surrounding male vulnerability and encouraged open conversations about mental health, emphasizing the need for support without shame. The actor stressed the importance of addressing mental health issues proactively and productively, rather than using them as an excuse to avoid responsibilities.
Currently immersed in the filming of Nitesh Tiwari’s epic Ramayana, Ranbir also has upcoming projects with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
