Devdas (2002)      

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is the director of the 2002 Hindi-language period romance drama movie Devdas. Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit play the key characters.

The movie tells the tale of affluent law graduate Devdas Mukherjee (Khan), who comes home from London to marry his childhood friend Parvati "Paro" (Rai). But his spiral into drunkenness and subsequent emotional degradation, which prompts him to seek sanctuary with the kind-hearted courtesan Chandramukhi (Dixit), was caused by his own family rejecting his marriage.

Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 (2011)           

The 2015 Indian romantic comedy movie Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is a follow-up to the 2011 film Pyaar Ka Punchnama.Luv Ranjan is the director of the follow-up. The movie stars Sonnalli Seygall, Kartik Aaryan, Omkar Kapoor, Sunny Singh, Nushrat Bharucha, and Ishita Raj Sharma. The movie premiered on October 16, 2015.

Geethanjali (1989)             

Mani Ratnam wrote and directed the 1989 Telugu-language romantic drama movie Geethanjali. Girija, who makes her film debut as the title character, co-stars with Nagarjuna in the movie. The movie earned six Nandi Awards in addition to the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Later on, Yaad Rakhegi Duniya (1992), a Hindi remake of the movie, was released.

Anurag Kashyap is the director of the 2012 Indian crime movie Gangs of Wasseypur: Part 1. It is the first book of the Gangs of Wasseypur series, which is centered on the Dhanbad coal mafia and the underlying political rivalries, retribution, and power conflicts that existed amongst three crime groups from 1941 to the mid-1990s.
