In Aashiqui 3: Kartik Aaryan Will Have A New Leading Woman.
The third instalment of the love story Aashiqui will include a fresh face, according to producer Mukesh Bhatt.

Audiences have only showered love on the couples appearing in Aashiqui, whether it was the hot chemistry between Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal or Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor.
Aashiqui 3 will undoubtedly have to live up to high expectations. The producers are reportedly looking for a new leading lady while they have Kartik Aaryan on board as the leading guy. Rashmika Mandanna was among the names mentioned, particularly after the two of them collaborated on a commercial.
According to a recent statement producer Mukesh Bhatt, the leading lady opposite Kartik Aaryan will be a debutante. We’re still looking, he said. I’m conducting a thorough search right now. For Aashiqui 3, we want to introduce a fresh face. The film is now in the screenplay phase and is anticipated to begin production next year, the producer further disclosed.
The producer had previously voiced his excitement about Aashiqui 3 in a statement, adding, “The evening of August 16, 1990, a day before Aashiqui’s release, Gulshanji and I were quite worried, the next day records were broken and history was created. I can tell everyone that Aashiqui 3 will celebrate love like never before thanks to Bhushan, Pritam, Anurag, and the nation’s heart thief Kartik.
However, the film's star, Kartik Aaryan, also said that he has always been a fan of the romantic series. He had added, "I grew up watching the timeless original Aashiqui, and working on Aashiqui 3 is like living out a dream! For the opportunity to work with Bhushan Sir and Mukesh Sir, I feel both privileged and appreciative. Anurag Sir's art has always been a favourite of mine, and working with him on this project undoubtedly affected me in many ways.
The love musical, which will be directed by Anurag Basu, will have songs written by Pritam.
