Citadel India Starring Varun Dhawan And Samantha Prabhu To Be Set In The '90s

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in the series called Citadel. It is the Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers’ American show set for Prime Video. For this Samantha is working on her Hindi with a coach.

As per reports, Citadel  India will also set in the 1990s, it will be in two timelines, early 90s and late 90s. The makers are already working on the look for Varun and Samantha. The project is planned to start from the end of November or early December. Currently Varun is promoting his film Bhediya and Samantha is also completing some her commitments.

We already know the facts that Russo Brothers’ are financing Citadel starring with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden which is dated to premiere in 2023. The project is getting numerous adaptations in many countries like Citadel India, Citadel Mexico, Citadel Italy and many more. The series will be shot over the period of three to four months. The makers are planplanning to released it by the end of 2023.

It will be directed by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
