The reports indicate that the successful pairing experienced a complete breakdown because of their on-set conflicts and the hidden power struggles that occurred during their shooting schedule. Their professional future together now seems to hinge on how their upcoming films perform at the box office.

These two A-listers were seen in a romcom, which went on to become a box office hit. Apart from that film’s sequel, they are also shooting for the sequel of another cult romcom. The sequel to the cult romcom has a fresh cast & none of the leading stars of the original have been cast. As per a source, the lead pair of these two movies are not on talking terms. They had a difference of opinion on the sets of their cult romcom sequel. It didn’t help that a star kid actress who is part of the sequel to the robot-based romcom was trying to make the A-list heroine’s character come across as the antagonist in the sequel. The star kid actress was seen in a cameo in the original movie. The heroine felt betrayed when the A-list hero did not speak out against the star kid’s tactics. The heroine is one of the favorite actresses of the studio producing the movie. It is unlikely that they will allow her to be sidelined. But the hero’s words still carry a lot of weight. If their movies succeed, they will be seen in more movies together, as that is how showbiz functions.
The issues between the two stars continued to grow larger and larger, with the presence of a third (younger) actress adding even more elements of conflict to the situation. Although these two stars won’t be working together in the immediate future, some film industry insiders believe that the two could reunite professionally after an eventual box office success.
In a film industry like Bollywood, personal relations are often less important than box office success, and producers will continue to pursue proven pairings of talent, regardless of any off-screen issues they may have; for example, currently, one actor’s career momentum is on the rise while the other is still looking for both a solid comeback opportunity and proof of new career success.
