Career:
Kashyap embarked on his acting journey with Star Pravah’s show “Mann Udhaan Varyache.” He then ventured into Marathi cinema with the 2014 film “Taptapadi,” portraying the character of Madhav. Inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s short story Drustidaan, directed by Sachin Baliram Nagargoj, the film revolves around a love triangle, adding layers of complexity with the loss of vision and a miscarriage.
In 2015, Kashyap graced the screen in “Bugali Majhi Sandli Ga,” a Marathi drama starring Mansi Moghe and Mohan Joshi. The narrative follows Shubhangi, an orphan raised by a Tamasha dancer, and the ensuing tale of love and societal expectations.
Kashyap further showcased his versatility by appearing in the historical TV series “Jai Bhawani Jai Shivaji” as Netoji Palkar. This show not only delves into the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but also pays homage to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Swarajya.
His television journey continued with the 2022 series “Nava Gadi Nava Rajya,” aired on Zee Marathi.
