Raksha Gowda was born in Bangalore on 17 February 1999 into a family of moderate means. She is 26 years of age by 2025. Her father worked in a government office, and her mother was a staff nurse. Raksha has a younger brother named Akshay Gowda. She did her schooling in Bangalore and went on to do her BBA from Jain College, thus strictly highlighting the academic inclination and creative interests of the child.

Her big break came, however, with the hit Telugu serial Guppedantha Manasu (2020–2024), wherein she was the main female lead as Vasudhara.
