"Heartfelt Tribute to The Melody Goddess by Arijit Singh "

The versatile singer Arijit Singh will  be seen paying  tribute to The Melody Goddess Lata Mangeshkar  on Gajendra Singh’s  latest  Star Plus show Naam Reh Jayega on June 5.Arijit Singh is a camera shy singer but this is something  which he wants to do.  He will be singing Lata ji's melodious songs including ‘Jo vada kiya vo nibhana Padega ‘( Taj Mahal) , ‘ Dikhayee Diye yun ‘ ( Bazaar) and ‘Tujhse Naaraz nhi Zindagi ( Masoom) 

Arijit Says “ These songs seem easy but when you sing you realise that it is not easy at all. I was introduced to Lata ji at an early age by my mother and that is how the love and respect for Lataji  were seeded in me “.
The producer of the show Gajendra Singh said that when he approached  Arijit , he was pleasantly surprised with his prompt consent to be a part of this show. He also said that Arijit rehearsed  from 2 am to 2 pm and sat  with each musician and did the song set-up. 
Listening  Lata  ji songs in the melodious voice of Arijit Singh will be a soothing experience for everyone.
