Navneet Sikera’s IPS Inspiration

Navneet Sikera's life was greatly impacted by a singular event that could have been taken out of a Bollywood movie. It began when his father, Manohar Singh Yadav, was receiving threatening phone calls. He went to the police station to file a complaint but was instead mocked and ridiculed.

This humiliation catalyzed Navneet's decision to pursue the Indian Civil Services, which he passed on his first try. His UPSC result rank was high enough to secure a job; thus, he set an example of how law enforcement should be conducted. Navneet Sikera ended up as an IPS Officer who removed crime from Uttar Pradesh and was recognized as an Encounter Specialist in the region.
