"Home" tells the tale of contemporary families. The plot centers around Oliver Twist (Indrans), who endeavors to connect with his son Antony (Sreenath Bhasi), a filmmaker plagued by nomophobia. Despite this, Antony dismisses his father's concerns and mocks his lack of tech savvy. This strains their relationship and impacts Antony's career, culminating in a confrontation with his father. The story unfolds as Antony comes to realize the value of family and reconnects with his roots.

The film resonates with the experiences of many families worldwide, shedding light on how mobile technology has consumed modern lifestyles, often at the expense of familial bonds. It underscores the importance of balancing technology use with meaningful human connections.

"Home" addresses a poignant subject matter effectively, serving as a wake-up call for older generations who may have overlooked their less tech-savvy parents. The cast delivers powerful performances, particularly Indrans, whose portrayal forms the emotional core of the film. Sreenath Bhasi adeptly captures the conflicted emotions of today's youth, while Naslen delivers a standout performance. Manju Pillai's portrayal of Kuttiyamma, Oliver's wife, is convincing and fitting.

The cinematography by Neil D' Kunha adds another layer of beauty to the film, capturing its poignant moments with stunning visuals and vibrant colors, maintaining a pleasant atmosphere throughout.

Directed and written by Rojin Thomas, "Home" carries a significant and timely message, although its execution falters at times. While it has its share of poignant and humorous moments, the pacing and predictability occasionally detract from its impact.

Despite its minor shortcomings, "Home" is a emotionally resonant film, anchored by Indrans' compelling performance. With stronger direction and a tighter script, it could have been an exceptional feel-good drama.
