Baazigar was a Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Abbas–Mustan. This film featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles, while Raakhee, Shilpa Shetty, Dalip Tahil, Siddharth Ray, and Johnny Lever appeared in supporting roles.

This was Khan's breakthrough role as the lone lead (his first as an anti-hero), Kajol's first commercial hit, and Shetty's feature film debut.
