Sara entered the entertainment industry as a child artist. She appeared in television commercials at a very young age and eventually made her feature-film debut with the Tamil movie Deiva Thirumagal (2011). Her portrayal of Nila, opposite Vikram, received considerable critical appreciation and established her as one of the notable child performers in Indian cinema.
