It is strongly encouraged that you participate in some activities as well. When you undertake fun activities with your family, you connect with them, a sense of teamwork emerges within the family, a sense of creativity emerges, and most importantly, you pass the time.

1. Building Forts

This is a game that can be played with just about anything you have around the house. You can use stationery such as cardboard, paper, cards, Popsicle sticks, and so on, or beds, pillows, and so on. The rule is that you must construct a fort with these materials, and the one who constructs the largest fort wins. You can even play the game in a group.
2. Card Games

Card games are rational and keep you occupied for a longer period of time. You can play a variety of card games with your children, such as Go Fish, Slapjack, Spoons, Crazy Eights, and so on.
3. Puzzles

If you have more time on your hands, have your children design a wonderful picture on a piece of cardboard, outline puzzle pieces on it, then cut it out with scissors. Making more detailed puzzle pieces can be a challenge for your children. This will keep children occupied for longer while also incorporating components of art and craft into the activities.
4. Dots and Boxes

It’s a dot-grid game played with a pencil and paper. Each player takes a turn drawing a horizontal or vertical line from one dot to the next. One point is awarded to the player who completes the fourth line to complete an 11 square. The goal is to prevent others from completing the square. The player who has completed the most squares is the winner.
5. Freeze

Increase the volume of the music and dance with your children. Somebody has to turn off the music, and everyone has to stop dancing and freeze in the same place. The music director’s job is to make the frozen statues chuckle. The winner is the last one standing.
6. Hangman

It’s a fantastic two-player game. The goal is to finish the word before the hangman’s sketching ends. The player comes up with a term or phrase and draws a blank for each letter before drawing an empty rope. The second person must guess the word letter by letter, with a body part being added to the rope for each incorrect letter.
7. Board Games

A variety of board games can help a child strengthen his or her logical, thinking, and analytical skills. These are family games that can be played by two to eight people. Chess, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Operation, Monopoly, Scrabble, and other classic board games are among the best.
8. Tic Tac Toe

This is an example of a simple paper and pencil game that your child can learn. Make a 3×3 grid. During their turn, players must choose either 0 or X to place on the box they want. To win the game, you must fill any three vertical, horizontal, or slanting boxes.
9. Treasure Hunt

Everyone enjoys hunting for hidden objects and playing detective. Make a treasure hunt map for your children and give clues for them to follow in order to find the ultimate reward. Although this game requires some planning, it is entertaining to see your children struggle and use deduction to identify their present.
10. Passing the Parcel

This is a timeless indoor game. Sit in a circle with a ball or a pillow. When the music starts, the parcel should be distributed as rapidly as possible among the players. The person holding the parcel is out when the music finishes. The winner is the last person standing.
