
Born on 21 December 1972 in Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh, Yeduguri Sandinti Jagan Mohan Reddy is the son of the popular former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and Y. S. Vijayamma. Educated at Hyderabad Public School, he earned a B.Com degree before turning to business and latterly politics.
Political Rise
Jagan entered politics after his father’s woeful death in 2009. He innovated the YSR Congress Party( YSRCP) in 2011, led a massive Praja Sankalpa Yatra across Andhra Pradesh, and secured a broad palm in the 2019 Assembly pates. He has served as Chief Minister since May 2019 and wonre-election in 2024 from his Pulivendula constituency.
