
Debadrita Basu was born on 3 October 2001 in Chakdaha, West Bengal. She is the daughter of Sanjay and Shukla Basu and a granddaughter of a football player named Bidesh Basu. Her sister Debopriya Basu is an actress as well At 8, she began theatre with a play named Drohi Choitonnya with a group called Ha Za Ba Ra La.


Television Career
Her first stint on television was with the serial Joyee (20172019) on Zee Bangla, in the titular role. She later played the role of Alo in Alo Chhaya (20192021), Meera in Shree Krishna Bhakto Meera (2021), and the role of Alo once more in Alor Theekana (20222023). In Hoisokka (2023), she portrayed the negative role of a dancing girl as Nilanjana Nilu.
