Satish Kaushik was a popular Indian actor, producer, director, comedian, and screenwriter. He started his career as a theater actor. He faced many struggles during the initial phase of his career. Though the actor is no more today, he will always be celebrated for the fantastic actor he was. He debuted in Bollywood with 1981’s film Chakra. He had a very small role in the movie. From his commendable comic timing to his dialogue delivery, he always showed his versatility and never failed to entertain the audience.

The actor was born on 13th April 1956 in Mahendragarh, Haryana. Some of his iconic roles in the film include Calender in Mr.India and Pappu Pager in Deewana Mastana. In 1990, he won Filmfare Best Comedian Award for the film Ram Lakhan and in 1997 for Saajan Chale Sasural. He will be remembered for his iconic role as Calendar in Anil Kapoor and Sridevi starrer film Mr.India.The late actor has a Bungalow in Versova, Mumbai. There he lives with his family. He also owns a farmhouse in Chandigarh. The actor lost his son Shanu Kaushik when he was just 2 years old. After that, he and his wife welcomed their daughter Vanshika through Surrogacy.
