Divya Tanwar IPS Age, Family, Biography & Other Details in 2023

Divya Tanwar is amongst the popular Indian youngest IPS officer, who cleared the UPSC Civil Services Exam back in the year 2021 at the age of only 22 and got a position of AIR 438.

Divya Tanwar’s Biography:

Divya Tanwar who is one of India's youngest popular IPS officer, was born in 1997 at Mahendragarh, Haryana. She became an IPS officer by passing the UPSC exam in the year 2021 at the age of only 22. 

Divya Tanwar’s Family:

On the other hand speaking of Divya's family, she actually belongs to a very poor family. Besides her mother, she has a sister of her own. Her father died in 2011 because of some disease. After which her mother used to look after the family by working in different households. Alongside Divya used to take tuition classes of the children.

Divya Tanwar’s Education: 

Diva Tanwar finished her elementary schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and then graduated in B.Sc from Government PG College, Mahendragarh. After that she made an attempt in the Civil Services and began preparing for the exam, and achieved 438 rank by clearing the UPSC exam 2021 in her first attempt.

Divya Tanwar’s UPSC Journey: 

Divya had undergone her UPSC exam preparation through online mode without joining any particular coaching center, and she got the prelims exam material through some online sources, along with that she read NCERT and standard books suggested by toppers.

And when her prelims exam got cleared, she joined mentorship program of famous coaching institute Drishti Coaching to prepare for the main exam and from there itself she appeared for many test series as well as prepared for the UPSC mains exam. Her optional subject was Hindi literature.

Divya belongs to a poor Rajput family, and her
father expired in the year 2011. Divya Tanwar is amongst the youngest female IPS officers of India, and she became an IPS officer by clearing the UPSC exam in the year 2021.
