The Shocking Story Behind The Justice For Sabiya Campaign Which Shook The Nation
People are taking to the streets and social media to question the legal system and any other entity responsible for taking action.
Sabiya Saifi (name changed), who worked in Faridabad, did not return home on the evening of August 27. Concerned parents approached the collector, but received no assistance. Sabiya's father searched everywhere for his daughter, including her workplace and friends' homes. When her body was located the next day, it was revealed that she had been stabbed to death.
According to reports, the 21-year-old Civil Defense employee was abducted on her way home, raped, and then brutally murdered. Mohammed Nizamuddin confessed to the murder of the 21-year-old and claimed that the two were married, but when pressed, he could not produce any proof.
Sabiya's father's statement during the interview was heartbreaking, and the internet was enraged. He stated that while he and his wife were preparing the body for burial, he found bruises all over her body as well as many knife marks on her neck, chest, and hands.
He further stated that there were no spots on her body where stab marks could be visible. On the 29th, Sabiya's father called the police station and requested the FIR and post-mortem reports; he was instructed to go home and that the police will contact him.
He stated that it could not have been done by one individual when describing the condition of his daughter's body.
Although the father claims that his daughter was raped before she was slain, postmortem reports show that no sexual assault or mutilation was done to the body.
According to the study, the death was caused by shock and hemorrhage as a result of multiple organ injuries. The accused of applying for a production warrant was taken into custody by the police on September 8th.
The condition of the body, the individual claiming to be married to Sabiya, the postmortem report stating no sexual assault, and the media not giving the case enough attention have all enraged people on the internet and those demanding for justice.
