After making an outstanding start in Karan Johar‘s Student Of The Year, Sidharth Malhotra’s Bollywood career was filled with hits and failures. However, the Ek Villain actor didn’t give up hope and went on to become a bankable A-lister with his 2021 picture Shershaah, in which he played the late Army Captain Vikram Batra’s role. In a recent interview, Sidharth discusses about the challenges he experienced as an outsider trying to make it big in Bollywood.
Sidharth told that getting films was not easy at all and was only able to make connections with people because they loved his work. He stated that it is the audience’s love and affection that permits him to stay in the industry.
Speaking about the challenges of a newbie, Sidharth said that in the early stages of their career, they have no influence over the fate of a film. He said, “You can’t do much more than provide your scene and shots. When the films fail to perform well, opinions made by media keep playing in your thougths.” Sidharth stated that his stubbornness came in beneficial since he believes it is impossible to beat someone who never stops trying.
Sidharth Malhotra‘s next film will be Thank God, starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. He is also filming in Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. In addition, he stars in Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force.
