Siddharth Malhotra is among the most versatile actors in Bollywood. The actor was last seen in Indra Kumar’s ‘Thank God’ along with Ajay Devgan and Rakul Preet Singh. Now, the Shershaah actor is all set to star next in Mission Majnu. It is a spy thriller film directed by Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta. The film also features Rashmika Mandana in the lead. Today, Sidharth took his social media handle and unveiled that the film is going to have an OTT release.
Mission Majnu’s release date is unveiled
Sidharth Malhotra took his social media handle and shared a poster of himself from the film, and unveiled that the film will be released on 20th January 2023 on Netflix. In the film, Siddharth is playing the role of a raw agent, while Rashmika Mandana is playing the character of a Muslim girl based in Pakistan. The poster features Sidharth in a rugged avatar as a raw agent.
Mission Majnu First look
Last year in November, the Hasi Toh Phasi actor unveiled his first look from Mission Majnu. He captioned the poster by sharing a few details about the film on Twitter. He wrote that the film is inspired by real events. He further stated that “ Get ready to be a part of India’s greatest covert operation that derailed Pakistani’s illicit Nuclear ambitions.
Sidharth Malhotra’s Work Front
Apart from Mission Majnu, The EK Villain actor will be next seen in Dharma productions Yodha along with Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 7th July 2023. He will also star in Rohit Shetty’s web series ‘Indian Police Force’ which will stream on Amazon Prime Video. The series also stars Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles.
