Krishna, often regarded as the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism, is a central deity in the religion. His life stories, which carry profound teachings, revolve around the search for life's purpose. He stands as the ultimate idol, with his Karma Theory serving as a unique philosophy for living and attaining liberation. Among his teachings, one stands out prominently – "LOVE." While many love stories exist, the love between Krishna and Radha holds a special place.

If love is considered divine, Krishna is the one who brought this divinity to life. He initiated the concept of love, later explaining it as life's ultimate purpose. In the Bhagavad Gita, he conveyed, "He who has no attachments can truly love others, for his love is pure and divine." Although Krishna had boundless love for everything and everyone, his love for Radha was unparalleled.

The Krishna-Radha love story, shrouded in various versions, is a tale of exceptional charm. The most popular version, considered closest to the truth, portrays their love story in the following manner:

Their love story commenced during their childhood. Despite Radha being a decade older, her heart was captivated by Krishna at first sight. Krishna, in turn, regarded her as the embodiment of beauty and joy. They were deeply in love with each other. Krishna made the decision to marry Radha and sought the approval of his mother, Yashoda, his father, Nand, and Sage Garg. However, all three of them refused. His parents cited differences in social status and Radha's age and engagement. Sage Garg disclosed the truth of Krishna's birth and life purpose, leading Krishna to reveal the truth to Radha. He convinced her that they needed to part ways, as he had a larger life mission to fulfill. Nevertheless, they would always share a spiritual connection.

Radha and Krishna, two souls already united, realized that true love transcends physical proximity; it is about the connection of souls. The universe recognized that such a love would endure eternally, and it did. Krishna assured Radha that her name would always be uttered alongside his, and they would be remembered as the epitome of love.

Krishna's marriage to Rukmini is another noteworthy aspect of his life. Rukmini, a princess, fell in love with Krishna based on stories she had heard about him, even before they met. When her brother tried to force her into a marriage with Shishupala, she wrote a letter to Krishna, expressing her deep love and asking him to abduct her as she visited the temple of Goddess Ambika (Parvati) before her wedding. Krishna, receiving the message in Dwarka, agreed to marry her. Impressed by her devotion and bravery, he, along with his brother Balarama, abducted Rukmini and married her, making her his principal queen.

Krishna had multiple wives, including Satyabhama, Jambavati, Kalindi, Mitravinda, Nagnajiti, Bhadra, and Lakshmana. Notably, he rescued 16,100 women from a harem and married them, totaling 16,108 marriages.
