Pooja Hegde is well known for her South Indian cinema and she is also an Indian model. On 13 October 1991 in Mumbai she was born. She did her schooling from Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai. She did her post graduation in Master of Commerce from M.M.K College, Mumbai.
When she was studying in college, she also participated in fashion and dance shows. After completing her studies, she became full time model and took part in Miss India beauty pageant in 2009 but she got eliminated in starting round. But she didn’t gave up she took part in Miss Universe India 2010 beauty pageant again.
In the beauty pageant, everyone was impressed by her performance and got the second runner up of the Miss Universe India 2010. She was also crowned with the title Miss India South Glamorous Hair 2010 in the same show. After that Mysskin Tamil director selected her for a movie by seeing her photograph of her beauty pageant. Her first movie was Mugamoodi which was released in 2012.
At first she was having problem at speaking and understanding the Tamil language then initially she started to speak in Tamil by writing her dialogues in English for her first movie. In 2014 she did movie with Naga Chaitanya Oka Laila Kosam which was a Telugu movie.
Her first Bollywood movie in 2016 was Mohenjo Daro with Hrithik Roshan which turns out to be flop. In 2017 she did movie with Alu Arjun which became a big hit Duvvada Jagannadham (DJ).
In 2022 , she was seen movies like Radhe Shyam,Beast, F3 and Acharya. Her upcoming movie Kiska Bhai Kisi ki Jaan with Salman Khan will be released on 21st April 2023. This year she also did movie with Ranveer Singh Cirkus which was a flop.
