Lock Upp Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Contestants

Lock Upp Season 2 will be returning on ALT Balaji and MX Player after the success of its first season. After only eighty four hours of releases the show got around 15 million views. Unbelievable right? The format of the show will remain the same in the second season as well, 17 contestants will be locked together in a jail to play games, tasks and fights for getting bail for survival. Interesting, isn't it? 

The show is hosted by actress Kangana Rananut. The first season was won by Munawar Faruqui with Payal Rastogi as the runner-up. Munawar is currently seen on Bigg Boss. It was expected that the second season will release by the forst half of the year 2023. 

This new season will have Kangana as the host, Karan Kundra as the jailor with producer, Ekta Kapoor. Many invitations for the show were rejected like Sumbul Touqeer Khan, a Bigg Boss season 16 contestant, rising rappers, Emiway Bantai and more. 

The season will have 71 episodes. The first season had titles for the episodes as  “Badass Jailer Kangana Ke 13 Qaidi”, “Ab Qaidi Layenge Kranti”, “Koun Hoga Kurbaan?” etc. What will be the names for the episodes of this new season? Two contestants who are confirmed for the show are Saundarya Sharma & Archana Gautam. Contestants selected for the show are those who have been in some controversies or are “controversial celebrities” who have been in the news for the wrong reason.

 After getting the popularity and being a viral show, we see an increase in prizes though we can just assume that it will be as exact as the previous season's prize pool amount, which was Rs 20 lakh cash prize & a brand new car. What do you think, wil there be any chance in the prize?
