According to reports, Evans came up with the idea for the project. Although a studio has not yet been associated with this movie, John Logan, who will also be writing the script, and Evans are slated to produce it. Through their business, T-Street Productions, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, and Mark Kassen will also produce the movie. This project will mark Evans, Johnson, and Bergman’s first collaboration together since 2019’s Knives Out, the sequel to which is expected to premiere on Netflix in December.

Scarlett Johansson’s departure due to scheduling issues was followed by the announcement of De Armas as the female lead. The Blonde actress joined Evans and other celebrities like Adrien Brody, Tim Blake Nelson, and Tate Donovan for the eagerly awaited film.
