The show was one of the most popular shows of the TV industry and the acting of the actresses was talk of the town. The budget of the movie was high and it was in the news that the actors are also demanding huge fees for this project.

A director whose horror movie released last year on an OTT streaming giant to some rave reviews, was supposed to make a remake of a hit 70’s supernatural movie. A top actress had agreed to star in the remake – which has now spawned several seasons on TV as well. The makers first approached a South superstar, but he quoted a fee almost as high as the budget of the director’s last release – also an OTT release & a remake of a South Indian movie. They then approached the superstar’s son, the one who recently made his Bollywood debut & divorced his actress wife recently. But then the son wanted to paid as much as the actress – which again did not work out. They eventually decided to approach the South Superstar’s second son. They were hoping that the second son won’t demand a huge fee as he ain’t that successful. But by then came news of the project getting shelved!
