Bojhena Se Bojhena is an Indian Bengali romantic soap serial that was telecast on Star Jalsha from 4 November 2013 to 18 June 2016. The serial has been produced by Shree Venkatesh Films and is a Bengali version of the popular Hindi serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, which was telecast on StarPlus.

Plot Overview

The show is centered around the tumultuous relationship between Pakhi Ghosh Dostidaar, a nature-loving, no-nonsense woman from Malda, and Aranya Singha Roy, a Kolkata-based egoistic businessman who is rich. They meet under circumstances of misunderstandings and fights, but they soon develop a deep and passionate love for one another. The series captures their journey from hate to love with elegance as they suffer through the hurdles brought about by their diverse backgrounds and natures.

Bojhena Se Bojhena was extremely well-liked in its initial telecast, applauded for its original plot and impeccable performances, especially those of Yash Dasgupta and Madhumita Sarkar. The show was so liked that it was re-telecast multiple times, including in 2020 on Jalsha Classic and again from July 3, 2023.

The success of the show spread beyond its time on television shows, for its theme song, performed by Arijit Singh, became a fan favorite. The show's popularity also helped boost the stardom of the lead actors of the show among Bengali TV.
