Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is among the most loved actresses in Bollywood. She is a Diva and watching her on silver screens is like a fantastic treat for fans. Currently, the talented actress is busy promoting her upcoming movie Ponniyin Selvan 2. Yesterday, the entire cast and crew were present at an event held in Mumbai including Director Mani Ratnam, Shankar, and others. Aishwarya was looking gorgeous at the event and interacted with the media. During the interaction one person from the media asked her about her Character Nandani which she has played in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, She was also asked whether she wants to play the character of Nandani again. The film was released in 1999.

The actress replied that it is a beautiful coincidence and that Nandani in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam will always be memorable. She further added that Nandani's character won the hearts of so many people and she is thankful that she got to play it. Nandani’s Character remains special for the audience and for her too and it was with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. And today also got the character in Ponniyin Selvan with her Mani Guru. She said that it is tremendously a blessing that she got to play such a strong and layered woman, who has touched the lives of so many people. She feels grateful for that. 

Ponniyin Selvan 2 is a star-studded film that has been in two parts. Directed by Mani Ratnam the film has been made into two parts. It also stars Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, and Karthi. The first part of the film garnered a lot of appreciation from the audience. The second part will be released on 28 April 2023.
