RRR Producer Made Only 25Cr Profit From The Movie?

RRR was the biggest hit of this year to date. It has seen strong growth at the box office with each passing day and is likely to have more profit in the upcoming time. But despite all this, a hot rumor is going rounds regarding its producer, D.V.V. Danayya.

The movie had a big budget of 450 crores including the remunerations and the producer sold it for Rs 700+ crores to theatricals and OTT platforms.

A rumor has been going on that the producer didn’t make much money from the movie and walked away with a 25cr profit. The rumors also say that the movie was fully financed by others and the financiers have claimed to become his partners and take a major share in the profit.

Some sources also alleged that Rajamouli’s family was behind the execution of the movie and therefore they took the major share in the profits.

Somehow, these rumors sound fake because no wonder, a producer will produce a 450-crore movie just for the sake of 25cr profits but it seems true to some perspective, the way Rajamouli family is seen involved in each directed film by him.
