Fact: Vin Diesel Got A Script That Mentioned What Groot Was Actually Saying

James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy in one of his interviews back in 2016 revealed something about Vin Diesel.

Vin Diesel, who plays the role of the tree monster in the Guardians series was given a secret Groot script with the character's dialogue in English. He has only a few lines through each series -” I/We are Groot.’ However, each line is to be said with a different set of emotions explaining a distinct meaning with each tone and it is only the actor and the director know about it. 

James Gunn also tweeted while sharing a photo of the cover of the secret Guardians of the Galaxy script saying, “The special Groot version of #GotGVol2 that only Vin Diesel & I have, where every Groot line is printed in English”. It was also previously revealed that Diesel with Bradley Cooper has never been seen on the Guardians set.
