End of Season 1, Vikrant approaches the dark web and finds a mercenary to assassinate Purva, making room for Shikha (however, Shweta Tripathi is Vikrant’s true love). It backfired, as the mercenary double-crossed Vikrant and kidnapped Purva, holding her ransom for one billion rupees. The mercenary also threatens to expose Vikrant’s plot to Akheraj, Purva’s powerful and dangerous father.

Saurabh Shukla’s Akheraj spends much of Season 2 trying to rescue Purva, pulling every string to ensure her safety. Meanwhile, Vikrant manipulates the situation, plotting to keep Purva from returning, hoping to reunite with Shikha. He persuades Akheraj to pay the ransom demanded by the mercenary, intending to pocket part of the money and escape.
Complications arise when Akheraj enlists the help of Guru, Purva’s London-based friend and secret admirer, to track down Jalan, the kidnapper. Guru is on Vikrant’s trail, but the what and whys are still vague to him as far as Shikha becomes concerned. As far as Gurus attempt to get back Purva is concerned, it has only added putrid fuel to the fire that Vikrant has already lit, leading up to Jalan mutilating Purava by cutting out a part of her ear.
Akheraj feels his daughter’s pain and falls prey to the demands and wants of Jalan to have Purv brought back to safety.
How Does Purva Escape?
As Akheraj prepares to pay the ransom, Jalan and his associate Sherpa secretly plan to assassinate him. Unbeknownst to them, Purva uses her combat training to escape, taking down several of her captors. With Guru’s timely arrival, the duo manages to eliminate most of the attackers. However, during the escape, Purva nearly falls off a cliff but is saved by Vikrant, leaving Guru astonished.

In Episode 5, Vikrant remains resolute in his plan to eliminate Purva following Jalan’s failed assassination attempt. However, a startling revelation from Purva’s doctor changes everything—Purva is pregnant, and Vikrant is the father.
This news throws Vikrant into turmoil. While he doesn’t want to harm his unborn child, his love for Shikha and his desire to fulfill his promises to her remain his top priorities. Meanwhile, the revelation devastates Shikha, leaving her future with Vikrant uncertain.
Is Shikha Alive?
A key subplot revolves around Purva’s obsession with Shikha, whom she sees as the only obstacle in her marriage to Vikrant. Suspecting Shikha’s involvement in Dharmesh’s (Akheraj’s henchman) death, Purva confronts her. The scene ends ambiguously, leaving Shikha’s fate—whether she was killed or abducted—a pressing mystery for a potential third season.
Is Purva’s Mother Alive?
In Episode 1, it is revealed that Purva’s mother had sacrificed herself to save her daughter from armed attackers. However, later events uncover that Purva’s mother is alive, albeit terminally ill. Sherpa, who orchestrated the kidnapping, appears to have a personal connection to Purva’s mother, either as a former lover or possibly her biological father, seeking to reunite the two.

The finale jumps forward in time, showing Vikrant in a hideout, fighting off armed attackers while injured. Beside him lies a pregnant Purva, and the two hold hands amid the chaos.
This scene hints that Vikrant might have chosen to side with Purva and their unborn child, potentially abandoning his dreams of a life with Shikha. Purva’s decision to flee from her corrupt father could have provoked Akheraj to send his men after them.
The ending implies that Vikrant, once desperate to rid himself of Purva, may ultimately fall in love with her, especially as he sacrifices his safety for her and their child. This twist adds a surprising layer to the series, setting up an intense continuation for Season 3.
