
Saif Ali Khan, an Indian actor and producer, was born on August 16, 1970, in New Delhi. He is also known as “Chote Nawab”, being the son of the phenomenal batsman Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore. Saif attended The Lawrence School, Sanawar, for early schooling and Lockers Park School, Hertfordshire, UK, for his final schooling. He was engaged in advertising for a short while, then transitioned into acting.
His Bollywood debut was in Parampara (1993), and he gained fame with Yeh Dillagi and Main Khiladi Tu Anari in 1994. His career initially stumbled with a lack of success, but he turned it around by working on box office hits like Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999). His career continued to soar as he acted in films that won critical acclaim and showcased the diversity of his performances, such as Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Hum Tum (2004), and Omkara (2006).

He has won numerous accolades, including a National Film Award for Best Actor for Hum Tum, and appreciation from Filmfare, IIFA, and Zee Cine Awards for his performances in the commercial films genre exemplified by Race (2008), and the more arthouse cinema as demonstrated in Parineeta (2005) and Ek Hasina Thi (2004).
Saif married Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012 and has four children: Sara, Ibrahim, Taimur, and Jeh. Saif was previously married to actress Amrita Singh. As a royal descendant, Saif and his charm toward the eyes of people are also in the form of his style and acting abilities.
