Mamitha Baiju is an actress, version, and classical dancer acknowledged for her paintings inside the Malayalam film industry. Personal Life
Born in Kottayam, Kerala, Mamitha Baiju completed her early education at Mary Mount Public School, Kattachira, and N.S.S. Higher Secondary School, Kidangoor. She is currently pursuing a B.Sc. in Psychology at Sacred Heart College in Kochi. Her father, Dr. Baiju Krishnan, is a doctor, and her mother, Mini, is a homemaker. She has an elder brother, Midhun.
Career
Starting as a model, Mamitha transitioned into films with her debut in Sarvopari Palakkaran in 2017. She gained a leading role in Operation Java, directed by Tharun Moorthy, but it was her performance in Kho Kho that really made her a household name. Her portrayal of 'Sona,' a fun-loving and carefree student in Super Saranya, received widespread praise.
In 2023, she starred opposite Arjun and Ashok in the romantic comedy Pranaya Vilasam, which became one of the best rom-coms of the year. Apart from that, she played a major role in Ramchandra Bose and Company, and acted opposite Nivin Pauly in an action-comedy drama.
His role in Premalu by A.D. Directed by Girish and starring Naslen G. Ghafoor, it was another important victory. Released in 2024, the film crossed Rs 1000 and became a box office hit. 85 crore mark in 25 days.
Expanding her horizons, Mamita made her Tamil debut in Rebel, directed by newcomer Nikesh RS. She plays the lead role in the film, which is slated to release on March 22, 2024.
