
Jasdeep Singh Gill, popularly known as Jassi Gill, is a famous Indian singer, model, and actor. He was born on 26 November 1988 in Jandali village, near Khanna in Ludhiana, Punjab. He was brought up in a Punjabi Jatt Sikh family. Jassi completed his schooling at Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School and graduated from Gobindgarh College, Punjab.
Jassi discovered his love for music at an early age, participating in local youth festivals before officially starting his career in the Punjabi music world. He made his singing debut in 2011 with the album Batchmate, which featured the popular song Chudiyan. Jassi’s single, Vigrey Sharabi (2012) helped elevate his fame even more, followed by other popular songs such as Lancer, which was featured in Batchmate 2. Jassi’s music has developed a fan base very quickly with his style, also referred to as a traditional Punjabi sound fused with modern beats.

Gill made his film debut in 2014 with the Punjabi comedy movie, Mr. & Mrs. 420 and more movies followed – Mundeyan Toh Bachke Rahin and Oh Yaara Ainvayi Ainvayi Lut Gaya, to name just a few. Most notably, he made his debut in Bollywood cinema in 2018 during Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi, with Sonakshi Sinha.
Jassi- 5’9″, around 65 kg, and a great personality, is an entity in the entertainment world and beyond. He plays sports, such as volleyball and cricket, and loves Aamir Khan, Katina Kaif, and Neeru Bajwa. Popular songs and hits include “Pyar Mera”, “Nakhra”, and working with big names, including Badshah. Jassi has also developed a solid fan base all over India.
He is married; however, Jassi has kept his private life mostly private. As if a hint of the past – he was at one point romantically tied to popular actress Gauhar Khan. Now with a diverse set of skills and presence in Bollywood on the rise, Jassi Gill will remain a well-known Punjabi name in the entertainment world.
