Family Background and Education
She is the daughter of Dr. Brijesh Shukla, who is a Physician and Secretary of IMA ( Indian Medical Association). Her mother's name is Leena Shukla. Her elder brother Gaurav Shukla cracked the civil services examination in 2014 and is also an IAS officer. Her second brother Utkarsh has also cleared the UPSC CSE examination, and he is an IRTS officer. She completed her schooling at the St. John's School. After that, she holds an MBBS Degree from the Maulana Azad Medical College. Later she got selected in MD and started going to PGIMER. After that, her brother suggested she try for the civil services examination, and with the help of his guidance she managed to clear the exam with flying colors and secured AIR 4 in the Civil Services Examination of 2015.

She says with strategic planning and dedication one can crack this exam. According to her, clearing aptitude was not that difficult in the Prelims examination. The officer says that one should focus more on the GS paper and there's no need to spend a lot of time on CSAT, as it only needs 33% marks. She said one should dedicatedly focus on History, Economics, and Geography, as it will help a lot in clearing Prelims and Mains as well. She has solved around 20-25 test papers for the Prelims exam and suggests every aspirant to do so. She said that watching interviews of the toppers also helps, but one should always make their strategy.
After the completion of her training in LBSNAA, her first posting was AGMUT ( Arunachal Pradesh - Goa - Mizoram- Union Territory) cadre in 2016. She is married to IAS Jasmeet Singh, who secured AIR 3 in UPSC CSE in 2015. After their marriage, she got transferred to the Rajasthan Cadre.
