Aratrika Maity is a young and talented Indian television actress who has gained popularity rapidly in the Bengali entertainment world. Born on 13 December 2004 in Jhargram, West Bengal, Aratrika had a nurturing background that supported her passion for performing arts. Affectionately named Mitul by her near and dear ones, she started on her career path in acting at a remarkably early age and had already impressed everyone by the time she reached 18.

Aratrika debuted in 2021 in Sun Bangla's Agnishikha when she essayed the lead heroine role and gave a glimpse of her natural flair for acting. Her expressive delivery and presence on screen enabled her to gain popularity overnight among audiences. After the success of Agnishikha, she was also selected for Zee Bangla's Khelna Bari, a show that further established her as one of the rising stars in Bengali television. For her performance in Khelna Bari, she received two Sonar Sansar Awards in 2023—Priyo Maa and Priyo Bou, an indication of her talent and popularity.

Late in 2023, Aratrika shifted to a new position in Zee Bangla's Mithi Jhora, where she is now portraying the central character Rai. All her characters portray her versatility and determination to perform well, so she became a star at home in Bengal.
