Palicha went to school in Mumbai and later enrolled at Stanford University to study computer science, but he quit to start his business. He began his career at the age of 17 when he began GoPool, a ride-sharing application. He also co-founded PryvaSee, an artificial intelligence-based privacy policy abridgment project.

Career & Zepto's Success

Palicha and his co-founder Kaivalya Vohra launched the 10-minute grocery delivery firm Zepto in 2021. Although their previous startup, Kiranakart, did not work out, they strategized their way, which made Zepto an overnight hit.

Funding & Growth

Zepto raised $100 million in funds from Y Combinator and reached a valuation of $570 million in six months of its operation. In 2022, its valuation rose to $900 million.
