Rohman Shawl Spoke About His Relationship With Sushmita Sen!!!
Rohman Shawl, last known to many as Sushmita Sen’s boyfriend, opened up about their relationship and what makes them good friends even after parting ways. In an interview, Rohman gave examples of how there’s respect between them as friends and talked fondly about Sushmita’s kids, Renee and Alisah, who are quite well aware and respect their mother’s friendship with him.
Recalling those moments in relation to Sushmita, Rohman maintained that the actress was a role model to him. In a meeting with Zoom, he said, “She is the kind of woman I have always respected and wanted as a partner. And when I met her, I even realized that she was better than how you see her. I was a fan, but now I’m a fan with love. Her dedication and the hard work she puts into everything inspire me. I deeply admire her intellect. She’s so aware of everything happening around her. We’ve stayed friends because I respect her and want to learn from her. People talk about exes being friends, but without common ground, how can you even connect?”
Addressing speculation about their relationship, Rohman described the bond they share: “There’s a sense of comfort—like dal-chawal. We understand each other completely and don’t care about outside opinions. I don’t feel the need to explain our relationship to anyone. What matters is that we both understand each other, and that’s enough for me.”
Rohman also spoke about his relationship with Sushmita’s daughters, Renee and Alisah, saying, “They’re incredibly smart kids, thanks to their upbringing. They’ve always understood the dynamics between me and their mom. We never mix things up—it’s a relationship between me and Sushmita, and my bond with them is entirely separate. They’ve remained consistent in their behavior, and the credit goes to their mom for teaching them how to approach life.”
Sushmita and Rohman, who were in a relationship for three years, announced their amicable breakup in 2021 with a heartfelt Instagram post, assuring fans that they remain on good terms.
