Jasmin Walia, born on May 23, 1992, in Chigwell, Essex, is a British singer and television personality of Indian descent. Known for her work in music and TV, she began singing at an early age and attended theatre school by the age of 10 to hone her acting skills. Though she applied to the University of Cambridge, she wasn’t accepted. and instead worked as a Customer Adviser at NatWest before fully committing to her passion for music.

Jasmin first gained public attention in 2010 with her appearance on the British reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE). By 2012, she had become a full-time cast member. Despite a setback during her X Factor audition in 2014, she persevered and launched her music career with the debut single "Dum Dee Dum" in 2016, which was a significant hit.
