"I Want To Talk" Social Media Review!!!

When starting I Want To Talk, I was unaware that Abhishek Bachchan's character is inspired by a real person named Arjun Sen. Knowing this beforehand might have added depth to the story of a man who defies a dire fate—a laryngeal cancer diagnosis with a grim outlook—and continues to thrive against the odds.

The question arises after watching: while surviving nearly 20 challenging surgeries, raising a daughter, and running a marathon are undeniably admirable feats, do these elements sustain interest over a two-hour runtime? Director Shoojit Sircar, known for his skill in portraying life-and-death scenarios (October) and exploring familial bonds (Piku), integrates both themes here. However, the emotional resonance and narrative depth that distinguish his previous works appear only sporadically in this film.
