Synopsis:
Gabbar Is Back is a old 2015 Indian action film which is directed by Krish in his Hindi debut, produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and written by Rajat Arora. An official remake of A. R. Murugadoss's 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa, it stars Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan, with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Chitrangada Singh making guest appearances.
Plot:
Aditya or Gabbar, as he has been referred to by his own students, was once a prof in college but then became a vigilante after the death of Sunaina, his lover who was killed in a horrifying accident that happened due to corruption. He creates a team of avengers who wear masks and knock off any corrupt officers one after another under his codename. As the group’s operations draw public backing and media notice, they also attract the ire of influential figures in the government and the underworld. With his ally Advocate Shruti and constable Sadhuram, Gabbar continues his battle against bribery, leading to a climactic confrontation with the corrupt magnate Digvijay Patil.
