Ananya Panday Talks About Mental Health!!!
Ananya Panday has truly carved a name for herself in the Bollywood scene, gaining acclaim for various performances, especially for CTRL, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, and just last year for Gehraiyaan. Though, initially, she was torn to shreds for her 'actin' skills.
Also, she has recently become the punching bag of a lot of online trolls, mostly due to the current nepotism talk going on in Bollywood. Recently, the actress was on the chat with Mojo Story, where she shared that social media negativity has really affected her and forced her to therapy for her emotional balance.
Ananya, the famous proud daughter of actor Chunkey Pandey, said that trolling started when she had just begun her career after her now-famous line "My father was never called on Koffee with Karan" while attending the roundtable discussion. That marked for her one of the most intense ugly popular backlashes and rendered her so demotivated that she refused to go to film sets.

"This is what happened:" she went on to explain the subtle manipulation of her mental state from online comments: "Sometimes, with mental health and social media, you read something in the moment and don’t realize it’s having an impact. But later, it lingers in your subconscious and hits you weeks later."
Ananya found his support in the family and went for therapy for the issues mentioned above. "Therapy made it all kind of clearer to me in terms of putting my feelings out rightly as such pitting all against one another," she said, adding that it helped her face the societal expectations.

Ananya also discussed the role of social media in fostering body insecurities. She pointed out, “Nobody shares their failures on Instagram. You’re constantly comparing yourself to someone who seems to have a better life, who’s always traveling or appearing happy. I’ve experienced that, too.”
While she continues to face occasional moments of self-doubt, Ananya emphasized the importance of self-compassion and resilience. “There are still days when I don’t feel confident, but I try not to be too hard on myself. As an actor, the least I can do is share my experiences and let people know they’re not alone,” she concluded.
