Akshay Kumar Believes His Films Are Flops Because Of His Own Faults
Akshay Kumar is among the popular actors in Bollywood. His recently released movie Selfie along with Emraan Hashmi is heading toward a disaster. It was released on Friday and has earned around only 6.35 crores in three consecutive days. The film marks Khiladi Kumar's fifth consecutive movie which failed at the box office. Bachchan Pandey, Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, and Ram Setu failed at the Box-office, and since then Akshay has been struggling to make a hit movie. He is well known for doing back-to-back movies, but now he is failing to create that charm that he has created through his movies.
He believes that the audience is demanding something new from him, and in order to impress the audience he needs to make a change in the style of his scripts. During an interaction, he said that when a film fails at the box office, then it is your own fault. Akshay said that he is given 16 consecutive flops at a time in his career. This time he had 4 films that didn't turn out to be good. The actor further stated that if anyone faces consecutive flops, then one should release that it's an alarm for them to change. He believes that he has to work on himself as the audience is demanding something new from him. He said that his films proved to be flopping because of him and not because of the audiences.
