Akshay Kumar’s palatial Mumbai house is a combination of spiritual and modern themes
The Bachchhan Paandey actor's beautiful Mumbai home has often shown in photos, but fans have never had the opportunity to get his home tour. However, it seems that the actor has, for the first time in a long time, posted a video of him giving a tour of his home, and this has left the netizens drooling over his palatial abode.
The Garden
The video begins with Akshay Kumar strolling around his garden. In the distance, a huge stone Buddha statue is surrounded by greenery. The huge coconut tree that is lit up with fairy lights has to be the central focus of his outdoor garden. Fairy lights are used to decorate numerous small plants, and we bet this garden area would be lit after sunset. The garden area has a few trees, creepers, and a cement path with a few tiny stairs. There is a comfortable and spacious terrace that can accommodate a big party for those who wish to relax amidst the greenery. The garden's seating area has a cover that is brown in colour. The outside space has a typical vintage-style wooden barricade around it.
Main entrance
The main entrance area follows, and it is lovely. A large stone statue of Lord Ganesh graces the entrance. Right behind the statue, there is a plant and we can see yellow flowers decorate on Lord Ganesha. The entrance includes glass doors, and the handle is a large rectangular stone piece, that would be easy to hold and provides a regal appearance. Wooden frames around the glass door give it a rustic look.
Wardrobe area
The very next room that he walked into was his wardrobe. It was a highly spacious room with a lot of mirrors and a very comfortable bed along with a seating area. Akshay has an open wardrobe which is an open wooden rack where his garments were hung very nicely. The stand was placed in front of a wall that was entirely made of glass. There is a bed-like seating area just next to the rack. There are a number of large beige pillows with check patterns alongside the mauve cushions. Mint green drapes were pulled over the glass window. Right opposite the wooden open rack, there was a wooden closed cabinet on the entire wall. There was a false ceiling with yellow lighting, and the colour tone was maintained light. The colour of the walls was off-white. We could see the garden behind us from the window, and the room was well-lit.
Living room
The living room looks pretty colourful and is a combination of modern and traditional décor. The first thing you'll notice while looking to Akshay's left is a wooden chair with a long back and intricate carvings. A long wooden back chair is also positioned on the opposite side of the abstract artwork of a man holding a sword, which is just next to the chair. A two-toned L-shaped sofa can be seen on the right. They had one dull orange cushion and two mint green pillows for a pop of colour. One of Akshay's living room's most attractive features is the centre table. It is a brass and glass design by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. A large, vibrant work of art was displayed close to one of the couches. A vase and many works of art were displayed on the glass centre table. The walls in the living room were an off-white colour, and there was a false ceiling with yellow lights.
