Tania Ahuja Deol, also known as Tanya Deol, is an Indian interior designer and also a costume designer. She was born on January 24, 1976. She was brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a good and wealthy family. Her father, Late Devendra Ahuja, was the promoter of Centurion Bank and the Managing Director of 20th Century Finance Company. Her mother is Marlene Ahuja who is a businesswoman. Tanya has two siblings. A brother named Vikram (Vicky) Ahuja and an elder sister, Munisha Ahuja Malhotra.

Career wise, Tanya pursued a diploma in Interior Designing. She has made quite the name for herself in the field of interior design. She particulspecializes in customized furniture and also owns a furniture brand named "The Good Earth." Apart from her interior design career, Tanya has also worked as a costume designer in various Bollywood movies, like Jurm (2005), Nanhe Jaisalmer (2007), Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011), and Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se (2018).

On May 30, 1996, Tanya married very famous Bollywood actor Bobby Deol. The couple has now blessed with two sons, Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol. Tanya's first meeting with Bobby Deol actually happened during the Diwali party at Chunky Panday's house, where they connected over a game of cards. Bobby lost the game and then he used this more of an opportunity to ask her out, which marked the starting of their relationship.

In 1996, Tanya's father started to connect with an air hostess who was reported to be 20 years young than him, creating a mess among the family and a particularly difficult time. Her father hade to eventually depart the family home as a result of this occurrence. Tanya still did not give up to build a solid family life and successful job in spite of these personal challenges.
