Swasika or actually known as Pooja Vijay is an actress and a television presenter who was born on 5th November, 1991. She mainly acts in Malayalam movie and serial and has acted in few Tamil and Telugu movies. after some appearances as the protagonist and the characters in the various films of the south Indian film industries, she portrayed the lead character Vasanthi in 2019for which she won the Kerala State Film Award for the Best Character Actress.After this she became very famous for her title character in the series named Seetha.

Swasika popularly known as Pooja Vijay, was born to Attupurath Vijayakumar, an accountant in Bahrain and wife Girija at Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, Kerala. She has a brother Akash. Later she completed her B.A in literature and then joined dancing classes.
